Straddling the Equator

I sometimes travel alone and have shared my thoughts on staying safe traveling in iffy areas.

Today, I noticed a NY Times article full of excellent travel safety tips for women.

I try to be super-cautious and aware when I travel, but there were a few things in this article that I hadn't thought about.  It might help you too, so check it out!

You don't have to let fear keep you from enjoying the rich benefits of travel, but knowing how to keep yourself safe will help you enjoy your travels even more.

  1. These are really nice tips. The thrill of discovering and learning new things is just like a fire I can't quench. So far I have been to several countries like Canada, New Zealand, Malaysia, UK, and seeing your blog I love it. I feel there is a thing or two I could learn merely reading through your blog posts. They are just so amazing and I don't think I have seen any writing like this before, so accurate and informative. I would also love to contribute to your blog my experiences and travel (that is, if you let me).
